A Stray Shower is owned and crewed by Bill and Laura Shower, and our 1st mate Dana Rasmussen. She is our home away from home, and a place we want to share with you.
Dana has sailed and raced on Lake Erie, the Chesapeake Bay, and currently in the Baltimore/DC area. Laura and Bill have owned and captained her since April 2007, and all of us have numerous sailing trips to their credit.
All of us served in the Navy, Dana and Bill made seven major deployments between them, not to mention YEARS of underway and at sea time. All are medically trained, with Dana being a physician’s assistant, certified orthopedic first assist in surgery. Bill was a corpsman (medic) in the Navy, and currently is a surgical assistant.
Our promise to you as your crew is to provide you with the most enjoyable and safe sailing vacation possible. We know the islands, have friends and connections on each of them, and love to show off our second home. Once you come aboard, you are family.
